Field trip

“An educational trip is an off-campus learning activity that brings excitement and adventure to learning.

“A well-planned educational trip is an ideal way to introduce new skills and concepts to the children.”

Field trips are not only good fun, they allow students to absorb, interact and immerse themselves in a practical way. On a field trip, students are more likely to retain information. Being involved in visual and practical experiences will help students remember, learn and understand subjects.

Sports

RPS has created an integrated sports curriculum that suits the physiological profiles of children. We strongly believes that playing sports help teach honesty, teamwork and fair play. Students learn to follow rules and respecting teammates and opponents. Experiencing the role of a graceful winner and loser and competitions in general teaches students about self-respect, confidence and managing stress.

Art & Craft

Art and Craft helps developing fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. It enhances creative thinking and children get an opportunity for self -expression. It also strengthens memory and visual thinking. We at RPS provide every student an opportunity to explore his/her artistic senses with various techniques and forms.

Celebrations

Celebrations are another mode of learning and are an important custom at RPS.

Students develop respect and open-mindedness for other cultures through these celebrations.

We observe Colour days for kindergarten which makes for a set of vibrant days at RPS.

Yoga

Yoga is a self-regulation skill, which is imparted to recover their self-esteem, confidence, restore their mental health, promote positive attitudes and improve their concentration.

It is part of a regular schedule and aims at reducing anxiety, tension and works on improving attention, memory and the physical well-being.

Dance

The school has a specialised dance schedule with its distinct set up and facilities.

Both Western and Classical dance forms are taught by trained professionals.

At RPS, students are given various opportunities to showcase their talents.

Life Skills

The Life skills classes at RPS is aimed at fostering active, informed and responsible citizens, who are willing and able to take responsibility for themselves and their communities and contribute to the progress of society.

It helps students to develop self-confidence and successfully deal with significant life changes.

It gives them a voice at school, in their community and in society at large.

Club Activities

RPS provides various club activities to enhance their knowledge and skills in diverse dimensions.

Clubs offer important life skills that a learner can use for the rest of the life.

The student learns how to be a team player, acquires leadership skills, can improve communication skills and interpersonal skills.

There are so many ways that clubs can help build a learner into a well-equipped citizen.

Scouts & Guides

Scouts and Guides is a vibrant program which contribute to the development of young minds in achieving their full physical , intellectual, social and spiritual potential as responsible citizens.

Many activities are conducted to explore the hidden talent of the members.

Non – Scholastic Activities

RPS offers a wide range of non-scholastic activities, wherein students hone their skills, gain confidence and have fun.

Students can opt for the optional activities with a minimal remittance annually.

Other non-paid activities include dance, keyboard, swimming, skating, karate and band.

Students opt for these according to their level and interest, and engage themselves in practice and performance during the school working hours.

RPS Band

Our band troop is one of its kind, which steals the limelight during celebrations and other important functions. It is administrated and trained by professional band masters.
